Coronavirous (COVID19) Notice to our Customers
Pentagon Plumbing, Inc. will continue to provide
24/7 emergency service to our customers, implementing safe/precautionary measures to protect
the health of our customers and employees. We will continue to find a
reasonable balance between the threats of the COVID19 and being able to
serve our community during these troubled times.
Please note that in lieu of toilet paper, even though some may be tempted
to use paper towels, paper napkins and baby wipes (even the biodegradable
ones), do not flush them down the toilet. It may be tempting, however
theses items do not breakdown in water like toilet paper. They are stronger,
and many wipes include plastics and materials like nylon. They are bad
news for your sewer line and may cause a stoppage. If you must resort
to the use of these items please, after use, put it in a bag, seal it
up and toss it in the garbage.
We have implemented CDC recommendations which should be practiced by all
individuals.
“Practice everyday preventive actions now. Remind everyone in your household of the importance of practicing everyday
preventive actions that can help prevent the spread of respiratory illnesses:
- Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
- Stay home when you are sick, except to get medical care.
- Cover your coughs and sneezes with a tissue. Immediately throw that tissue away.
-
Clean frequently touched surfaces and objects daily (e.g., tables, countertops,
light switches, doorknobs, and cabinet handles) using a regular household
detergent and water.
- If surfaces are dirty, they should be cleaned using a detergent and water prior to disinfection. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions for all cleaning and disinfection products.
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing. If soap and water are not readily available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. Always wash your hands with soap and water if your hands are visibly dirty.
- Contact a doctor if experiencing mild to severe respiratory illness with fever.
- Practicing safe and practical social distancing.
- Avoiding shaking hands and keeping a safe distance from others.
Choose a room in your home that can be used to separate sick household members from those who are healthy. Identify a separate bathroom for the sick person to use, if possible. Plan to clean these rooms, as needed, when someone is sick.
Stay informed about the local COVID-19 situation. Get up-to-date information about local
COVID-19 activity. Be aware of temporary school closures in your area,
as this may affect your
household’s daily routine.
Discourage children and teens from gathering in public places while school
is dismissed to help
slow the spread of COVID-19 in the community.”
Pentagon Plumbing, Inc. will continue to do our part to protect our community.
Remember to
do yours.
Please look out for your family, neighbors and fellow community members.
We will get
through these difficult times together.
PLEASE STAY SAFE
